That’s right; Southwest Florida has a fast-paced, in-your-face, professional hockey team known as the Florida Everblades. If you’re a hockey fan, be sure to swap sand for ice and enjoy an Everblades game while on vacation.

Who Are the Florida Everblades?

The Florida Everblades are among the leaders in East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) attendance with a loyal fanbase and great atmosphere! They also took home the Kelly Cup Championship Title in 2022 and in 2023.  Proud affiliate of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League, they will serve as a developmental affiliate for the Panthers and their primary developmental affiliate, the American Hockey League’s Charlotte Checkers, starting with the 2022-23 season.

When Can I See a Game?

The season runs every year from October to April, with the Kelly Cup playoffs happening soon after.

The Florida Everblades play in Hertz Arena in Estero. It is Southwest Florida's premier entertainment venue offering a wide variety of entertainment including concerts and family shows.
